About

Chesham Weavers Group is a weaving workshop with tutoring. We are a self-funded, constituted group. Everyone is a member.

The group itself is well equipped with looms, tapestry frames and other equipment as well as a range of yarns for sampling and an extensive library of books on weaving and design.

The group is comprised of weavers with different levels of experience, from complete beginners to those with a great deal of experience.

We meet weekly during term time in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, to share ideas, learn and develop new techniques.

Group members come from near and far. The Metropolitan tube line runs from London frequently. Free parking is available on site, on a first come, first served basis.

Classes run roughly inline with school term times, with three terms a year. They run from 10am to 3pm, with an hour for lunch. Half-day sessions are also available.

Fees are payable at the beginning of each term.

We welcome new members but if the class is fully booked, we operate a waiting list.
